Happy Sunday,
Today I've got five ChatGPT features that came out without anyone really noticing, how to get your business to rank on ChatGPT (being #1 on Google isn't enough anymore), why you're a lot less behind on AI than you think, and how to get ChatGPT to chase an upgrade on your next flight (I'm writing this from seat 1A).
Let's get into it.

5 ChatGPT Features Nobody Knows About
ChatGPT quietly dropped a bunch of new features over the last few weeks and barely told anyone. Here are five worth knowing, and most take less than a minute to set up.
1. Fix your credit score. ChatGPT can now show you your credit score, tell you exactly what's hurting it and help you fix it. Open Finances in the sidebar (or type /finances), choose Connect your credit score and verify your identity with Experian in the secure form, never in the chat itself. Then ask "What's hurting my score the most, and how do I fix it?" and it gives you a plan to bring it up. It's a soft check, so it won't affect your score, and it updates every month. US only, on Plus and Pro.
2. ChatGPT inside Microsoft Word. There's now an official ChatGPT add-in for Word, so you can rewrite or clean up a document without copying anything back and forth. Install it, open Word, click ChatGPT in the ribbon and sign in. Then select a messy paragraph and ask it to "rewrite this for a client." It works on every plan, including Free, and the same add-in works in Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Try clothes on before you buy them. Ask ChatGPT to help you shop for clothes, tap Try on on any listing and add a photo of yourself, and it shows you wearing it. No more ordering three sizes and sending two back. You can change or delete your saved photo anytime in Settings → Personalization → Reference photos.
4. Turn yourself into a sticker pack. In the ChatGPT phone app, attach a selfie and ask for a sticker pack. You get personalized stickers of yourself that you can actually send in iMessage or WhatsApp. It's on every plan, and it's the one your friends will ask you about.
5. See everywhere you're logged in. Go to Settings → Security and login → Security history and you'll see every sign-in to your account, with the time, location and device. If anything looks off, log out of all your other sessions right there. It takes thirty seconds and it's worth doing today.

🚨 THIS IS BIG
How to Get Your Business to Rank on ChatGPT
This one should get the attention of anyone who runs a business. Earlier this month, marketer Ryan Doser ran a test where he asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity who the best plumber, roofer, HVAC company and more was in two US cities, then compared their answers to Google.
The results were wild. The four AIs never once agreed on the same #1 business. And fewer than 1 in 4 of the businesses they recommended were even in Google's top 3.
So you can spend years climbing to the top of Google and still not exist when someone asks ChatGPT. And more and more people are asking ChatGPT who to hire instead of Googling it. It only names a few options. There's no page two. If you're not one of those names, you basically don't exist to that customer. It's SEO in 2003 all over again, and most businesses haven't even started.
So you might be wondering, how do I actually get my business to show up inside ChatGPT? I always point people to the same tool, Cytd. They get your business ranked when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, which is called AEO (and it helps your SEO along with it). I just invested in them because I really believe in the tool and the team behind it.
A big reason I believe in them so much is that most AI tools are SaaS companies, meaning you get access to the technology but you still do all the work yourself. Cytd actually does it all for you, and you just pay a monthly fee. If you run a business, a small business or even a personal brand and don't have time to figure this out, their team gets you actually ranking, which means more customers, more leads and more clicks. Countless businesses that have worked with them have seen big increases in their sales and conversions.
And I worked out a deal with them so only the readers of this newsletter get their first month free (which is literally a no-brainer, since you don't do any of the work yourself). Within the first month, they'll actually start getting you ranked inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity without you paying a single dollar.

💡 WORTH A LOOK
You're Not Behind on AI. You're Early.
The question I get asked more than any other is some version of "am I too late to get into AI?" So here's the updated version of one of my favorite charts. Each little square is about 5.75 million people, and all 1,443 of them together are everyone on Earth (about 8.3 billion people), colored by how far they've actually gotten with AI. (Chart adapted from Gradually AI, August 2026.)
70.8% of the world has never used AI. Another 27.8% only use free chatbots. Just 1% pay for AI, and only 0.4% use AI coding agents.
So if you're reading this, you're already ahead of most of the planet. And if you pay for ChatGPT or Claude, you're in the top 1% of humans when it comes to AI. You're not behind. You're early.
The next step is what that tiny red dot is doing: handing AI real work instead of just chatting with it. You don't need to code for that. Claude Cowork and ChatGPT Work are the easiest way in. They're basically beginner-friendly versions of Claude Code and Codex, so if those sound scary, start here. You give it a real task, like turning a pile of notes into a finished document or going through your inbox, and it does the work while you watch. That's honestly what I hope this newsletter helps you do. Here's how ChatGPT Work compares if you're more of a ChatGPT person.

ChatGPT Can Now Get You Upgraded to Business Class
I'm writing this from seat 1A on a flight from Austin to New York right now. And yes, I'm being serious, the confirmation you're seeing above is real. My upgrade to business came through this morning, and ChatGPT is 100% responsible for it. I'm going to show you exactly how to get upgrades like this yourself.
You're probably sitting on miles, credit card points and perks you've never once pointed at a specific flight. Miles in one account, bank points that transfer to the airline, a card that bumps you up the upgrade list, a cash offer that shows up at check-in. You just never add it all up, so you never use it.
ChatGPT adds it up for you. It interviews you about what you've got, ranks every way into the front cabin from free to cheapest, and then opens its own browser, goes to your airline's website and chases the seat. With holiday travel coming up, this is a good one to run before your next trip.
Step 1: Open ChatGPT and choose Work at the top. This matters, because regular Chat doesn't have a browser. Then paste this in and fill in the brackets:
I'm flying [AIRLINE], confirmation code [CODE], last name [NAME], on [DATE] from [CITY] to [CITY]. I want to upgrade this exact flight to business or first. Before you answer, interview me about my credit cards, miles and points, memberships and elite status, and what I paid. Then map every upgrade option I have for this flight: miles, upgrade certificates, transferable bank points, card perks, cash upgrade offers and upgrade bidding. Use web search for my airline's current rules and label any price that's an estimate. Rank every path from free to cheapest, with the cost, whether it confirms now or only waitlists, and the deadline. Show it as a visual board and put the one move you'd make first at the top. |
Step 2: Answer its questions with your booking receipt open. You'll get back a board with every option ranked, right there in the chat.
Step 3: Stay in the same chat and send it after the seat:
Now go get me the upgrade in the browser. Open [AIRLINE] and pull up my booking with confirmation code [CODE] and last name [NAME]. When you reach the sign-in page, stop and let me sign in myself. Read the [BUSINESS / FIRST] cabin and the upgrade offers on my booking, then take the best path from my board. Only use miles if I'm getting at least 1.2 cents per mile. If my airline does upgrade bidding, place a smart bid and explain the number. Otherwise put me on the upgrade list and tell me my position. Show me the exact price and wait for my OK before anything that costs money or miles. |
ChatGPT opens your airline's site, stops so you can sign in yourself, reads your booking and comes back with the offer and the math. You're always the last click. Never type your airline password into the chat itself, and watch it the first time it runs.
A few honest notes. On chatgpt.com, the browser part needs a paid plan (Plus or Pro). American, Delta and United don't do upgrade bidding, so there it'll go for miles, the cash offer or the upgrade list. Lots of airlines outside the US do, like Air Canada, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines. And basic economy almost never qualifies, so check your fare first.
The guide has three bonus prompts, including a 24-hour check before you fly, because cash upgrade offers often drop close to departure.

Start with the security history check, it takes thirty seconds. If you run a business, grab your free first month with Cytd before your competitors do. And if you've got a flight coming up for the holidays, run the upgrade prompts this week and do the 24-hour check before you fly. Reply and tell me how it goes.
See you Wednesday.
