Two AI Prompts That Are Taking Over the Internet Right Now

These two prompts have been all over my feed this week and I thought you guys would have fun with them. Both of them show just how creative ChatGPT's image model has gotten.

1. The AI Selfie

People are asking ChatGPT to take a selfie of itself... and the results are all over the place. Some people are getting blurry human-looking photos. Others are getting robots, dogs, cats, and some things that are just straight up unsettling.

Here's why the results are so different for everyone, and this is actually really interesting from a technical standpoint. ChatGPT has no physical form. It has no face, no body, no concept of what it "looks like." So when you ask it to take a selfie, the image model has to construct an identity from scratch. It pulls from the context of your conversation, the tone of your prompt, patterns it learned from millions of training images, and basically guesses what it thinks a "self-portrait" should look like in that moment. That's why the same prompt can produce a person at a desk for one user and a golden retriever holding a phone for another. It's essentially projecting an identity where none exists... and the fact that it can do that at all says a lot about where these models are headed.

2. The AI Palm Reading

This one is even cooler. People are taking a photo of their hand and asking ChatGPT to do a full palm reading... and the results look like something a professional designer made. It generates a clean, premium-looking guide with your actual palm lines mapped out, personality traits, strengths, and a minimal black-and-white contour of your hand. It's honestly beautiful. Just take a photo of your palm and use this prompt:

I tried this secret 4-prompt chain inside Claude and the answers genuinely blew me away. This is the closest thing I've seen to having a personal business advisor that actually knows what it's talking about. Here's the exact chain you can copy right now.

First, open a new chat and say:

The key here is running all four in the same chat so Claude keeps the context from each one. By the time you hit Prompt 3, Claude is roleplaying as the exact person you should be learning from and building you a custom plan. And Prompt 4 is where it gets really personal... Claude starts coaching you through your actual blockers. I've never seen an AI do this so well.

💡 HONEST TAKE

Claude Code vs Codex: Why You're Going to Be Hearing These Names a Lot

I know this is supposed to be a non-technical newsletter, but you're going to be hearing these two names come up a lot as companies like OpenAI and Anthropic keep dumping billions into this space. So I want to break it down as simply as possible so you actually understand what these are.

Claude Code is made by Anthropic, the same company behind Claude. You access it through your terminal... that's the black screen on your computer where you can type commands. If you've never used a terminal before, don't worry, it's easier than it sounds. You basically just type what you want in plain English and Claude Code does it for you. It can build entire websites, write scripts, create apps, edit files, and automate tasks on your computer. The way it works is it sits next to you while you work... it shows you what it's thinking, asks for your input along the way, and walks through problems step by step. It's the best I've seen when you need something done precisely and you want to stay in control of the process.

Codex is made by OpenAI, the same company behind ChatGPT. You access it through the Codex desktop app, which you can download for free if you already pay for ChatGPT. Codex works differently... instead of working alongside you, it's more like handing off a task to someone and coming back when it's done. You tell it what you want, it goes away, builds it, and shows you the finished result. It just got a bunch of new updates and honestly it's probably my favorite right now when it comes to building websites, coding, and getting things done fast. With GPT-5.5 running inside of it, it's very good.

Why does this matter? Because both companies believe the future of AI isn't chatting... it's AI that actually does work for you. Builds the thing, writes the code, sends the email. And it's already happening. This week Coinbase laid off 700 people and restructured their entire company around AI. Their CEO said engineers are shipping in days what used to take weeks. They're creating one-person teams using tools like these to do the work of five people. This isn't just tech companies... it's everywhere.

I'm not saying this to scare you. I'm saying this because the people who learn these tools now are going to be the ones who are irreplaceable later. You don't need to become a developer. You just need to understand what these tools can do and start using them. I'm planning on doing a full video about this soon, so keep an eye out for that.
