Happy Sunday everyone,
There is so much happening every single week and it's a lot to keep up with, but I really hope these emails have been helping you stay ahead. This week I'm breaking down a brand new feature from Claude that has the entire design world freaking out, which AI tools to actually use for which tasks, a stat about AI adoption that might surprise you, and the ChatGPT app store that most people still haven't heard about.
Let's get right into it.

🚨 THE BIG ONE THIS WEEK
Claude Just Killed Figma, Canva, and Pretty Much Every Design Tool
Anthropic just dropped Claude Design and I need everyone to pay attention to this one. You can now build prototypes, mockups, pitch decks, and fully interactive designs right inside Claude. You describe what you want, Claude builds it, and then you refine it through conversation or direct edits until it's exactly right.
I tried this out and was blown away by the results. The editing control is absolutely insane. You can set up your brand's colors, fonts, and design system during onboarding and then every single project after that automatically uses your stuff. You can upload documents, point it at your website, even import from Figma. And when a design is ready to build, Claude packages everything into a handoff bundle that you can pass straight to Claude Code.
Figma's stock dropped 7% the day this launched. That tells you everything.

Which AI Tools Should You Use for Certain Tasks?
I get asked this all the time so I made a video breaking down exactly which AI tool I go to for every type of task. If you're still using ChatGPT for everything, you're leaving a lot on the table. Here's the full list:
Brainstorming → ChatGPT (voice mode is perfect for spitballing ideas)
Viral topics and trends → Grok (real-time X data and viral trends)
Writing emails → Claude (makes your voice sound human and natural)
Understanding something complicated → NotebookLM (turn a 2-hour podcast into a 500-word summary)
Building websites or apps → Lovable (most beginner-friendly builder right now)
Improving your SEO → Cytd.ai (trains AI on your business so you show up where customers search)
Deep research → Perplexity (analyzes hundreds of sources into one report)
Generating images → Gemini (Google's image generation is insane right now)
Generating videos → Higgs Field (insane cinematic 4K video generation)
📰 WORTH THINKING ABOUT
Only 10% of Americans Are Excited About AI
Stanford just dropped their 2026 AI Index report and this one number stopped me in my tracks. Only 10% of Americans say they're more excited than concerned about AI in daily life. Meanwhile, 56% of AI experts feel the opposite.
It gets crazier. 84% of AI experts think AI will improve healthcare. Only 44% of the general public agrees. On jobs, 73% of experts think AI will help. Only 23% of regular people feel that way.
There's a massive gap right now between the people building this stuff and the people hearing about it on the news. And I get it. If your only exposure to AI is headlines about job losses and deepfakes, of course you'd be more scared than excited. But the people actually using these tools every day see something completely different. That disconnect is exactly why I write these emails. If you're reading this, you're already way ahead of 90% of the country. And the earlier you start, the bigger the advantage.
☕ MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS
ChatGPT's App Store
Most people still don't know about this, but ChatGPT has an app store where you can connect real apps and services directly into your chat. You tag a brand in your conversation and interact with it without ever leaving ChatGPT. It's basically turning ChatGPT into a platform where you can do everything from one place.
I actually did a collab with Starbucks on this recently, some of you may have seen it on my socials. (That was a pretty surreal one to be honest, getting to collab with a brand like that.) They basically wanted me to show how you can now discover new drinks and place fully customized orders right inside ChatGPT. The fact that a company like Starbucks is actively promoting this tells you that the app store is going to be a very big deal going forward.
And Starbucks isn't the only one. Instacart is in there, where you can order groceries delivered to your door. Spotify, where you can build entire playlists just by describing a vibe. Photoshop, where you can use actual Photoshop editing tools on your images inside ChatGPT. Target, where you can shop and build a cart. Plus DoorDash, Uber, Booking.com, Expedia, Zillow, and more rolling out all the time.
Instead of opening five different apps to order food, book a trip, make a playlist, and edit a photo, you just talk to ChatGPT and it handles all of it. This is ChatGPT becoming the hub for everything you do on your phone and it's happening fast.
💬 FROM THE DMS
"I Tried AI and It Was Useless. What Am I Doing Wrong?"
I get some version of this message every single day. Someone opens ChatGPT, types "write me a marketing email," gets back something that sounds like a robot wrote it, and decides AI is overhyped.
Here's the thing. AI is only as good as what you give it. If you give it a vague, one-line prompt, you're going to get a vague, generic response. That's not AI being bad. That's like googling "stuff" and being mad the results aren't helpful.
The people getting incredible results from AI are doing a few things differently. They're giving it context about who they are and what they need. They're telling it who the audience is. They're giving it examples of what good looks like. And they're having a back-and-forth conversation instead of expecting perfection on the first try.
If you tried AI once and walked away disappointed, give it another shot. But this time, talk to it like you'd talk to a smart coworker who just started at your company. Give it the background. Tell it what you actually want. You'll be shocked at the difference.
See you Wednesday.
