Happy Sunday,
Today I've got the new always-on assistant Claude just announced (plus the craziest thing my own AI assistant has done for me), how to get ChatGPT to do a full color analysis on you from one selfie, a conference I'll be at this week, and the 4 secret Claude connectors I'd install first.
Let's get into it.

🚨 THIS IS BIG
Claude Just Launched Its Own Always-On Assistant
We all knew it was coming, and it's finally here. Claude just launched Duet, its own always-on AI assistant that comes to you instead of waiting for you to ask it something.
If you've been reading this newsletter for a while, you already know about ChatGPT's dots and Meta's Muse. If you're new here, these are proactive, always-on AI agents. Instead of you opening a chat and typing a question, they keep an eye on your email, calendar and apps in the background and message you when something needs you. Now Claude has one too.
Here's how Duet works. You connect your apps (Gmail, Slack, your calendar and more than 6,000 others), and every morning it sends you a short brief of what actually needs your attention. Then it keeps checking in the background and only messages you when something needs a decision. You can also hand it jobs by text or voice, like "schedule this meeting" or "build me a dashboard of my sales."
So can you try it yet? Unfortunately not yet. Right now it's a waitlist, starting with Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, and I'll let you know the second it opens up.
I'm currently using ChatGPT's dots as my proactive assistant, and I decided to name mine Goose (get it?). I wanted to share this one because I think it really helps you picture how powerful these proactive assistants are getting.
I was in Austin earlier this week and woke up to the message you're seeing above from my dot. It saw my 11 a.m. Airbnb checkout and my 5 p.m. flight on my calendar and asked if it should email the booking company for a later checkout, so I'm not stuck carrying my bags around. I was literally still in bed when I saw it, so I just gave it a thumbs up. Fifteen minutes later I got a reply saying my checkout was extended until 3 p.m. And best believe I went right back to sleep.
I really see it as your own really smart VA who's always paying attention to everything going on and can practically make decisions for you. I think this example perfectly shows what's possible, and why the proactive part is what's really going to change everything.
From what Anthropic has said, Duet is built for work first (it's still weaker at personal errands), so if your work already runs through Claude, it's the one for you. And I love the guardrails: before it sends a message, makes a payment, signs a document or deletes anything, it shows you exactly what it's about to do and waits for your OK.
This is where all of AI is heading. We're moving from chat to agents. Instead of asking a question and then doing something with the answer yourself, you'll have proactive assistants that come to you with what matters and take care of it.
You don't have to wait for Duet to start, either. Just pick whichever one you already have (I think dots is the easiest one to start with, since you've probably already connected your tools to ChatGPT), give it one ongoing job and wait for it to text you. It'll blow your mind.

🧠 TRY THIS
ChatGPT Can Do a Full Color Analysis on You
Upload one selfie to ChatGPT and it tells you exactly which colors make you look your best. Your undertone, your season, your full palette, the colors that wash you out, even which metals and hair colors suit you.
You might be thinking, what does that even mean? Here's the idea. Everyone looks better in certain colors and worse in others, depending on your skin, hair and eyes. Wear the right ones and you look healthier, more awake and more put together, even in a plain T-shirt. Wear the wrong ones and you look tired, no matter how much the outfit cost. (Fun fact: mine says soft white is one of my best neutrals, which is great news for my closet, since it's basically all white T-shirts.)
People used to pay stylists hundreds of dollars to sit with them and hold fabric up to their face. Now you can do it inside ChatGPT. It takes about two minutes, and it comes back as a full report you can save to your phone for the next time you're shopping.
Step 1: Take a selfie facing a window in natural light. No filter, no heavy makeup, plain background if you can. Bad lighting is the number one reason people get the wrong season, so this part matters.
Step 2: Open ChatGPT, upload the selfie and paste this in:
Create a high-end personal color analysis report based on the photo I uploaded, designed as a clean cream editorial layout with rounded cards and elegant typography. Work out my undertone (warm, cool or neutral), my contrast level (low, medium or high) and my season using the 12-season system, and explain which features led to each conclusion. Show my best colors as labeled swatches: my power colors, my best neutrals and my best accent colors. Then show a smaller palette of the colors that wash me out. Include which metals suit me (gold, silver or both), hair color directions that work with my season, and lip tones if relevant. Be honest, not flattering. |
You'll get your season (something like Soft Autumn or Deep Winter), your full palette and a list of colors to stop wearing near your face.
Step 3: Now make it useful. Take photos of the clothes you wear the most, upload them to the same chat and send this:
Based on my color analysis, go through these clothes one by one. Tell me which ones work with my palette, which ones I should only wear away from my face, and which ones I should stop buying. Then give me 5 pieces to add to my wardrobe next. |
That one's my favorite, because it stops you from buying another shirt in a color that does nothing for you. You can do the same thing in a store: snap a photo of something before you buy it and ask "Is this in my palette?"

Don't Use Claude Without These 4 Secret Connectors
Most people use Claude straight out of the box, and they're missing the best part. Connectors plug Claude into other apps so it can actually do things inside them. These are the four I'd install first, and most people have no idea they exist.
1. Blender. This one lets Claude build real 3D models. Blender is free 3D software, and once it's connected you type a sentence like "build a cozy cabin in the woods with three pine trees" and watch an actual 3D object assemble itself on your screen.
2. Sandcastles. This one lets Claude study every viral video in your niche. Ask it what's blowing up right now and what you should post next, and it answers with real data on the hooks and formats that are working. It's what I use to research my own videos, so if you make any kind of content or run social media for a business, this is the one.
3. Zoom. This one connects Claude to all of your meetings. You can ask it anything that was ever said in any meeting, and it already knows every action item you're on the hook for.
4. Wispr Flow. If you're not using Wispr Flow yet, you need to (not sponsored). I genuinely think it's one of the best AI tools out there right now, because you just talk instead of type. And you can connect it straight into Claude. My favorite use: have Claude go through your Wispr Flow meeting transcripts and build a voice skill, so everything it writes for you actually sounds like you.
Step 1: Open the Claude desktop app (Blender only works there, not in the browser) and paste this in. It walks you through all four, one at a time:
I want to connect four tools to Claude: Blender, Sandcastles, Zoom and Wispr Flow. Walk me through setting them up one at a time, in that order. For each one, tell me exactly what to click, wait for me to say "done" before moving to the next, and if something doesn't work, help me fix it before we continue. Start by asking whether I'm using the Claude desktop app, and whether I already have Blender installed, a Sandcastles account and Wispr Flow. Once Wispr Flow is connected, go through my meeting transcripts and build me a voice skill so you write the way I actually talk. |
Step 2: For the first three, you'll mostly go to Customize → Connectors, search the name, click Add or Connect and sign in. For Wispr Flow, start in the Wispr Flow app: Settings → MCP → Add to Claude. Claude tells you exactly when.

If you're on Claude Pro or Max, get on the Duet waitlist today, and do your color analysis while you're at it, it takes one selfie and two minutes. And if you connect Zoom, ask it what you're on the hook for this week, then reply and tell me what it found.
See you Wednesday.
