Happy Wednesday,
Today I've got 5 secret ChatGPT codes that fix any photo without changing your face, what I'm seeing at a conference in Vegas this week, how to build your own version of Claude with its new Mods, and why Anthropic's IPO might be the biggest moment in AI this year.
Let's get into it.

5 Secret ChatGPT Codes That Fix Any Photo of You
Upload a photo to ChatGPT, type /identity-lock, and it fixes the whole picture without changing a single feature on your face.
People have been loving these from my latest video, and it's because they fix the most annoying thing about AI photo editing. You ask it to make a photo look better and you get back someone who looks like your cousin. Same vibe, different nose. These five codes fix your photos and keep you looking like you. Honestly, Adobe and Canva are going to have a hard time coming back from this one.
1. /identity-lock. Add this to any edit and ChatGPT keeps you exactly the same while it changes everything around you. Same face, same hair, same outfit, same lighting on you. Only the background changed in that photo. Use it any time you want a better setting without ending up with a stranger's face.
2. /studio-quality. This one improves the lighting and the sharpness, so a photo from your phone looks like it was shot by a professional photographer.
3. /upscale. This one enhances the clarity and the resolution. It's perfect for that old blurry photo you love, or a picture you want to print.
4. /clean-up. This one removes the messy background, the random people, the laundry on the chair, and makes the whole image look cleaner.
5. /pose-only. This one changes just your pose without touching your face. Great for the photo where everything's perfect except you're standing a little weird.
Here's how to use them. Open ChatGPT, attach your photo and type the code. That's it. You can add a few words if you want something specific, like "/clean-up, keep the dog." And the best part is you can stack them: run /clean-up first, then /studio-quality on the result, and you've got a photo you'd actually post.
One tip: start a new chat for each photo, so ChatGPT doesn't mix your last edit into the next one.

Copilot just got a big upgrade.
I'm at the Power Platform Community Conference in Vegas, and my biggest takeaway so far: you don't need to be a developer to build with AI anymore.
Copilot is becoming one place to get work done. For a quick question, you can chat with Copilot. For something more complex, you can hand it off to Cowork and let it work through the task for you.
And with Code, you start with what you want to create. Describe the dashboard you need, and Copilot can help you build it.
That's what I keep seeing at PPCC: more people starting with an idea or a problem and using AI to actually build something.
I'll be here for the rest of the day, so if you're at PPCC when this lands, come say hi!

Claude Just Dropped Mods: Build Your Own Version of Claude
Claude just dropped Mods, and you can now build your own version of Claude just by talking to it.
Think about the things you ask Claude every single day. "Summarize where we're at." "What's still unfinished?" "Check this for mistakes." With Mods, you turn those prompts into actual buttons that sit right above the chat, so you never type them again. You don't write any code. You describe what you want, Claude builds it, and you turn it on.
Mods live in Claude Code, so you'll need a paid Claude plan and the Claude desktop app (they don't work in regular Claude chats on the web).
Step 1: Open the Claude desktop app, choose Code, and open the project or folder you're working on.
Step 2: Paste this in:
Build me a mod with three buttons above the chat. One to summarize this project, one to list unfinished tasks, and one to check the latest draft for mistakes. Have each button send that instruction into the conversation. |
Step 3: If Claude asks to approve files, approve them. When it asks if you want to turn on the mods it writes, click Turn them on, and when it finishes its reply, your three buttons show up above the chat.
Now here's the trick. You can keep building on it. In the same chat, paste this:
Add a panel next to the chat that shows every file you changed and lets me compare it before and after. |
So when Claude updates your website, your notes or your documents, you can actually see exactly what it did before you move on. Want a different button or layout? Just tell Claude what to change.
One heads-up: a mod only loads in the chat where you built it. If you want it every time you open Claude Code, just ask Claude to save it as a plugin and it'll walk you through it.
Not sure what buttons you'd use? Let Claude figure it out with you:
Interview me about how I use Claude Code so you can suggest mods that would save me the most time. Ask me one question at a time about what I work on, the prompts I type over and over and what slows me down. When you're done, suggest 5 mods, explain each one in one sentence, and build the one you think I'll use most. |
I answer these out loud with Wispr Flow instead of typing, because it's about three times faster and you end up giving it way more detail.

🚀 AI UPDATE
Anthropic Is About to Go Public, and It's Almost Profitable
Anthropic, the company behind Claude, just officially filed to go public. It'll trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. The share price and date aren't set yet, but reports have it valued somewhere between $1.4 and $2 trillion and listing as soon as mid-November.
I think this could be one of the biggest moments in AI this year. Until now, only big investors and tech giants could own a piece of the company making Claude. Soon, anyone with a brokerage app will be able to.
The growth in the filing is insane. Anthropic made $41 million in 2023, $386 million in 2024 and $4.6 billion in 2025. Then it made $16.3 billion in just the first six months of this year. Companies spending at least $100,000 a year on Claude went from about 950 to more than 11,900 in one year, and that now includes over half of the Fortune 500. More than 1,900 companies pay Anthropic over $1 million a year, and about 250 pay over $10 million. With roughly 5,300 employees, each one now brings in over $6.6 million a year in revenue, up from $1.4 million just a year ago.
Remember that $80 billion loss I told you about last Wednesday? Now that the official filing is out, we can see exactly what it was. $72.4 billion of it was the accounting charge I mentioned, which came from Anthropic becoming so much more valuable that its old investor notes are now worth way more on paper. It's not money that left the building.
Here's what the actual business did. Anthropic's real operating loss for those six months was $693 million on $16.3 billion in revenue. That's about 4 cents lost for every dollar it brought in, down from $2.1 billion lost a year earlier on just $1.2 billion in revenue. And if you leave out the stock it pays its employees, it actually made $1.6 billion. For a company spending this much on computing power, that's almost profitable, which is not what the headlines made it sound like.
A couple more things in there I thought were really interesting:
The founders are giving most of it away. Anthropic's co-founders have each pledged to give 80% of their personal Anthropic shares to charity. There's also a fund that gets up to 2% more shares for good causes every time the stock price climbs another 50%.
The founders stay in control. Even after anyone can buy shares, the co-founders keep 50.1% of the vote, so Wall Street can't just take over and change what Claude is.
Here's my take. Last week I said Google, Amazon and Microsoft win this race no matter what, because so much of Anthropic's money flows to them. That's still true. But this filing shows Anthropic isn't some company throwing money away. It's building real software that thousands of companies are paying insane amounts of money for, and that's only growing. More money means more computing power, and more computing power means a better Claude for you. I'm not telling you to buy the stock (I'm not a financial advisor), but I'll be watching this one really closely.
If you've been waiting to see whether AI is just hype, this is your answer. AI is real, and it's here to stay, so the best thing you can do right now is learn how to use it.

Try /identity-lock on a photo you already like, then reply and tell me how it came out. And if you use Claude Code, build your first mod this week and tell me what buttons you made.
See you Sunday.
